Seneca Lake: Small & Mighty with Lunch
Our first group of six wine lovers was all smiles as they stepped out of the white van parked at Ventosa Vineyards, perched above the northern end of Seneca Lake. This was part of the Small & Mighty with Lunch tour, a carefully curated experience for small groups looking to enjoy big wines and even bigger views.
At Ventosa, the group enjoyed tastings and a relaxed lunch on the back deck, soaking in panoramic lake views while sipping estate-grown reds and whites. The day continued with stops at Anthony Road Wine Company, White Springs Farm Winery, and Fox Run Vineyards, each offering a unique take on the flavors of Seneca Lake, from crisp Rieslings to bold Cabernet Francs. This tour may be “small,” but the memories made are anything but.
Keuka Lake: Kings & Queens of the Crooked Lake
Elsewhere in wine country, two couples explored the beauty of Keuka Lake on our Kings & Queens of the Crooked Lake tour. Their day included tastings at some of the most iconic wineries along the crooked lake’s winding shoreline.
The journey included Keuka Spring Vineyards, where their group photo was snapped in front of the tasting room. They also visited the legendary Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery, known for bringing European winemaking traditions to the Finger Lakes, and Heron Hill Winery, a favorite for its towering tasting room and serene lake views. Lunch was served at Bully Hill Vineyards, where the food and wine matched the vibrant, creative energy the winery is famous for.
Canandaigua Lake: Sip & Savor Tour
The final pair of couples took the Sip & Savor Tour around Canandaigua Lake, one of the region’s hidden gems. Their picture-perfect moment was captured at the overlook along County Road 12, with rolling hills and vineyard views as far as the eye could see.
Their tour included tastings at Hazlitt Red Cat Cellars, Inspire Moore Winery, and Arbor Hill Grapery, each stop offering a flavorful mix of history, local charm, and handcrafted wines. The day wrapped up with a visit to Heron Hill’s Canandaigua location, where cool whites and bold reds capped off a relaxing and scenic experience.
