Keuka: The literal indigenous meaning is “Lake with an elbow”. It is the most unusually shaped of all the Finger Lakes and one of the shallowest. Because of its shallow depths, Keuka has one of the warmest water temperatures ideal for moderating the environment to grow premium grapes. We will begin with breathtaking views of the Lake, and visits to FOUR of the wineries surrounding Keuka Lake. We will choose based on availability what wineries we visit. We will take your recommendations of which wineries to visit but cannot guarantee them. Door-to-door service from area accommodations or departure from the Finger Lakes Casino and Racetrack is at 10:00 a.m. ** Pickup times may change depending on your pickup location. Please refer to email communication from Crush Beer and Wine Tours for specific pickup information.**
Rooster Hill
Their focus on regulating crop yields and achieving superior ripeness has earned Rooster Hill wines high ratings from Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast and has established Rooster Hill as one of the leading Finger Lakes wineries.
Bully Hill Vineyards
In the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country stands Bully Hill Vineyards. Bully Hill’s history started almost 150 years ago when master cooper Walter Taylor decided to branch out into wine-making by founding the Taylor Wine Company in 1880. Overlooking the lake you can taste over 40 wines at our tasting bar with energetic and knowledgeable staff. Like many other winemakers of his time, he started small and rustic; by the mid-century, Bully Hill eventually became the largest winery on the eastern coast. Nearly a hundred years later, history would repeat itself as Walter’s grandson, Walter S. Taylor decided to start his own winery on the very spot his grandfather had; the hillside commonly known as Bully Hill.
Point of the Bluff Vineyards
Welcome to one of the best wine regions in the world. They believe it – and you will, too, after you spend time here with them. Beginning with the vineyards, their boutique size allows their wine-making team to fully control every aspect of the process. Their production includes a full range of wines, from old-world style varietals to modern, sustainable canned sippers.
Stever Hill Vineyards
Stever Hill Vineyards is a fifth-generation family farm. Nestled amongst hundreds of acres of grapes in the heart of wine country, their renovated 1850s tasting room is complete with rustic woodwork and original hand-hewn beams. Their knowledgeable and friendly staff offers an extensive wine list featuring dry, semi-dry, and sweet wines.
Heron Hill
