Seneca: The largest of all the Finger Lakes by volume and depth. This makes it an ideal moderating influence for vineyards on the shores that sit largely in Conesus Loam Soils. We will begin with breathtaking views of the Lake and Vineyards, and visits to THREE of the wineries listed surrounding Seneca Lake. We will choose based on availability what wineries we visit. We will take your recommendations of which wineries to visit but cannot guarantee them.  Door-to-door service from area accommodations or departure from the Finger Lakes Casino and Racetrack is at 11:30 a.m.  ** Pickup times may change depending on your pickup location. Please refer to email communication from Crush Beer and Wine Tours for specific pickup information.**

Prejean Winery

Prejean, a surname of French origin, is the founding family’s name. Prejean Winery was founded by James and Elizabeth (Jim & Libby) Prejean. Jim Prejean was born in Carencro, Louisiana which is part of the French-speaking area of Louisiana.  Prejean is a French Cajun name that is most common in southwest Louisiana, but more unusual elsewhere in the United States.   Prejean Winery currently has approximately 30 acres of active vineyards in which we grow thirteen varieties of grapes. Vinifera grown include Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Hybrid varieties grown include Traminette, Vignoles, Cayuga, Valvin Muscat, Marechal Foch, Noiret and Corot Noir. All Prejean Wines are estate grown and produced.

Ventosa Vineyards

You will taste a variety of flavors found in Ventosa’s wines as you marvel at the view of the vineyards and Seneca Lake. The wine tasting experience at Ventosa Vineyards is second to none. Enjoy a glass of wine while overlooking the 23-acre property on the northeastern shore of Lake Seneca.

Anthony Road Wine Company

Arrive at this charming pioneering property on 100 acres of the northwestern bank of Seneca Lake. Taste through the crafted portfolio of Anne & John Martini. With the help of friends and family, they planted the first grapes, all hybrid varieties, in1973. An array of wine is produced – from dry to dessert – with a range of tastes designed to please connoisseurs and casual aficionados alike.

Cane and Vine Wine Cellars

Mike and Jayne Gibbs, a husband-and-wife team, opened Can & Vine Wine Cellars in 2025, expanding their portfolio alongside Toast Winery on the south end of Seneca Lake. One wine Mike is particularly excited about is his bone-dry Cayuga White. While this varietal is often produced in a sweeter style, the 2023 vintage was so exceptional when made bone-dry that he chose to bottle it. He also enjoys crafting pétillant naturel (pét-nat) wines. Can & Vine will offer a Dry Sparkling Rosé of Marquette made in the pét-nat style.
